What is QIgong?
Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medicine technique, involves the insertion of extremely fine steel needles into the skin to target specific body points.
The aim is to alleviate health conditions or symptoms like pain, based on the belief that disruptions in the flow of the body's vital energy, or 'qi', can lead to health problems. By inserting needles into designated points across the body, acupuncturists seek to restore energy balance, encourage healing, and foster relaxation.
